The Paradise.......

After the defeat in Ander and the attempted to hi wife Kahlan, Richard decided to leave his army also because he had a forecast about it ( if he continued guide his army they will loose the war) and that vision is confirmed by Warren that is a beginner prophet. He took Kahlan and Cara and they went to a lonely place in the Westlands where Kahlan recovered from her special illness and together with Cara learned how to move in a forest and how to catch footprint on the ground. There they lived as in Paradise and they felt very happy. As of all the good things it finished too much quickly with the arrive of Nicci ( a richard's old aquaintance).
The question is: what do you think happened if Nicci didn't come????? Le me know it

if nicci never came... richard would still have nursed kahlan back to health... and then... eventually he would have come to realize that something needed to be done and he would have come out of hiding... he would never had had the experience that nicci provided for him, but he still would have gone back into action... why? because he cares too much about life...

Oh he probably does what you said but without nicci's coming and his visit to the Old World he coudn't undestand that the only way to stop the imperial order isn't to fight it directly but it is to fight it in its own lands.....

the realization you stated came to richard before nicci took him to the old world... and i believe he would have come up with this idea no matter what... because richard doesn't think the same way as everyone else... as stated in other threads he thinks outside the box... he focuses on the solution not the problem, hence he doesn't get overwelmed as easily as everyone else...

I remember that Richard take the decision only after his visit to the Old World, Am I wrong???

yes you stated the fact before... he gave up, knowing that he could not win because people had to really want freedom... keep their freedom... for them to actually fight against the imperial order... this realization began to come to richard when he lost the race in the world of anders... then when kahlan was mortally wounded he fully decided that to save kahlan was his first priority since people did not want to hear what he had to say... remember that kahlan tried to explain richard's conclusion to zedd when she left the mountains with cara to join the army... whild richard had been taken by nicci to the old world...

So what would happen if Richard's forecast was wrong???? If the Imperial Order win the war because he left his army what could it happens????please tell me

the world would be in darkens and under terrible tyrany... richard would be tortured to death and so would the mother confessor after she gave a son to the emperor... magic would be completely destroyed... and people would always leave in fear... now because there is no more evil from the new world they would not have a common fight to keep them together and many more people would become restless when there is not enough food to fee every one...

i think that it did come true when richard created the parallell world and sent the imperial order and all their followers to it... a thousand year of darkness i believe that's how richard refered to it

right but I think they deserve it (even if a thousand year of darkness is too much)
